Okay, I seriously do not know where to begin. But I'll start at the beginning. This was an impromptu concert for The Neighbourhood and because they were in such high demand the venue changed to the Hollywood Palladium. It was one of their biggest concerts with 3,700 people and I was actually pretty close to the stage. Since it was a standing concert, it was alright and being 5'4", life really was not that great. This was my first official concert and is definitely going to be my last because nothing could ever top what happened. After crying my heart out to all the songs the concert ended and I really wanted to meet the band, well mostly Je$$e (putting the dollar signs on his name is way cooler). Well, it was not that hard, my brother Jallal is a musician, check out his stuff here: (fb,instagram, twitter, youtube), and he is actually friends with Je$$e, so he surprised me by taking me backstage to chill with Je$$e, and all I can say is that JE$$E is the best person you will ever meet. He is so real and amazing. It was only us three backstage at the end and he kept on talking, and his ideas are amazing that I can not even put it into words. I asked if I could take a pic with him and he was like of course and it was just my luck that my phone died but the only pic I have with him is this candid of him showing me his keys, he was so happy with his escalade keys. And after we walked out together and all his fans were waiting for him and he denied taking pics with him because he needed to go home after not seeing his mom for two months. I really wish him the best of success and that we will meet up again when he is free. Please listen to their stuff, they are the most honest form of music out there.

This weekend I shot for fashion/style blogger Michelle Jiafang for her blog since her current photographer has been M.I.A. It was great and consisted of a ton of walking and different locations with three outfit changes but we were able to get a lot done. Check out her stuff here. My group finally met together to work on our trend report for Spring 2014 Menswear collections, in particular the floral trend. And as for the last image that is my dear Tiffany Wei. The profile picture of my life. You will be getting weekly doses of her okay, do not fuss, and an outfit post will be coming soon I suppose.

One of my favorite colors is Green. Not a neon green but earthy toned greens. It's only tuesday, and I have know clue where I've gotten those jeans and these shoes are three years old. Time really does fly. I don't want to read CH 11 for my Critical Thinking Class.

My cousin came from Maryland as a Suprise, we were all screaming like freaks when we saw her at the door. So we spent the whole day just running around every where eating everything and trying on everything and taking a bunch of weird and blurry pics because we were having too much fun. And on the same day I ran into Kevin and Bryan and I had not seen both of them since last summer. I only got a good picture with Bryan, I'll post a nicer one with Kevin soon Inshallah. Besides still wearing my 3.1 Phillip Lim top there isn't much to add. I've worn the cardigan pretty much every day and I still need to make an outfit post with the sweater. Tehe.

I literally waited 15 days after the Phillip Lim X Target release because I knew they didn't release everything on day one. I really wanted the little satchel bag, but this top along with the cardigan and navy blue sweater was enough to make me happy. The quality is amazing and I am in LOVE. So.. yeah here is an outfit post at the house across the street from me. I swear it seems as if I live in a desert type area that is supposed to have a lake. That really sounded weird. I spent Friday looking at Muslim Hijabi fashion bloggers. This girl here is amazing check her things out! Mad respect. As for now, I am drinking almond milk. The food post at the end is NOT what I only eat but additions to my food. Wearing: Top Phillip Lim x Target , Jeans from H&M, Calvin Klein Wedges, Phillip Lim x Target Men's Cardigan.

This week was more or less stressful. I had a huge designer research project on the amazing "Rei Kawakubo". I always liked the brand Comme Des Garcons but I never really payed much attention to the history and vision behind her work. As I got to understand where her philosophy stood, I fell in love with everything.Everything she does is for a reason. She see's the beauty in imperfection and breaks down the norms of society. It is her way of thinking and dedication to clothing that honestly made her so successful. Too bad I can't afford half of the things she makes, I'll just try snagging a few pieces from the "PLAY" by Comme des Garcon collection. I finished my project in two days, and for a procrastinator... I actually finished my project at 8:50 the night before it was due. I had to make a power point, a five page paper, and a collage that really captured the "personality of my designer". I presented and that was fun, I am an introvert that is okay with presenting when it is required of me. So after class, as a celebration I took Asra and Juwairya for SUSHI. By that time I was starving. Then I decided to walk home, which is like three miles away, and I passed out right when my body touched the bed. I'll have more fashion related things coming soon, but right now I am honestly trying to become more fit because I like the way my body looks in clothes when it is more fit. Trying to loose the extra summer boredom pounds.. THE RIGHT WAY!! OH and I have a website where you can buy my artwork. Click HERE.

Sorry for the complete DERP FACE. I wasn't ready for the camera, but all the rest are cool. These were taken at the photobooth at YOUth store in LA on fairfax, and my brother appears as a cameo. I skipped class (shhh... don't tell anyone) and left for LA on a Wednesday. All we did was chill around and happened to get caught up in a YG music video shoot, but easily steered clear of the whole jumble. Been painting and drawing and crushing on Sen Mitsuji. Oh yeah and Asra came to kick it with us too, she ended class early, I am the bad child.

Okay, so there is so much missing in these pictures but this is the best I can do so far. Summer was actually pretty decent. Ramadan was in the middle of summer making summer feel some what odd, but nonetheless amazing. I bought a pair of dolce vita loafers which you see throughout the recap because I love them no mater how many blisters they give me. Besides going to LA and helping with some photography work I can say it was a good summer. More outfit posts to come.
