HERE COMES SPRING

So when I was searching for something new today I found this amazing dress that gives off a sort of spring vibe especially considering what color it is. The unique layout of this dress is what gives it the sort of attention it deserves and inspires me to create complex designs similar to this kind. It is a "sunny yellow frock with crisscross bodice and bow back". Who wouldn't love to wear that. The dress is called the Leifsdottir Bamboo Garden dress and it seems to be worth it.

Futuristic Shoes

I went on fashionweekdaily.com to find that they posted something about shoes. Is there some sort of shoe virus going on because I'm certain I have never heard of it. Well I feel as if I am showing a slight infection of the disease. So these shoes are amazing. They are like 3D. wait you need 3D sunglasses to see these. teheheheehe. They are by Pauline Van Dongen. Oh god did this woman create the world's first 3D shoes!!! AMAZING!!! she deserves a recomendation . She designed them for her master’s thesis at ArtEZ in Arnhem, Netherlands, Van Dondgen's shoe line Metamorphosis. The pieces were recently displayed in “The Future of Fashion” show in Amsterdam. The heels are made of powdered nylon that has been slowly fused together by a computer guided laser. Talk about future.
Yes its me again with the same topic but for those of you who are too lazy to go on the website here are the shoe pictures from the previous weeks. The first week plays with your mind like crazy, but the second week is easy to determine what the shoe is.

SHOES !!!!!

So it happend to be that style.com sent me an e-mail asking me to take a quiz about shoes and if I could identify what designer sent that shoe down the runway. They have been doing this for the past 2 weeks and every week they post a new shoe for you to determine the designer. So this week I went to check out the quiz. When I first looked at the picture I was confused I didn't even know ifI was looking at shoes or not. See if you can find the shoes yourself!! and I recommend you take the quiz yourself. Especially my colleague A. shes shoe obsessed.

SUBMARINES

I happened to be listening to my sisters best friends Ipod touch when I acidentally touched on the sone SUBMARINE SYMPHONIKA by the submarines. It also happens to be the background song on the IPHONE commercial. The colors are so lively that it reminds me of Pradas 2010 RESORT COLLECTION.

HERMES

I'm sorry to say on the exact day by which I insisted on viewing the New Fall 2010 RTW runway shows of HERMES, but my computer wasn't exactly getting along with me . Well lets see what HERMES sent down their runway. For more pictures visit my tumblr at www.pahribaguette.tumblr.com or style.com and click on the fashion shows tab on the menu bar.

The look is very goth with the leather and BLACK color tone. Well get ready to rock on. Enjoy yourselves. Reminds me of HOT TOPIC.

With the experience I have gained today I have learned a lesson. Dont trust anyone . Okay enough with my life . So I learned that HERMES WAS A GREEK GOD. Thank God Im learning about mythology OTHERWISE I would be a lost soul. Lets look at HERMES RUNWAY SHOWS. Lets entertain ourselves. Shall we ?? I'm not fully sure if they sent out their FALL 2010 RTW yet. BUT OH WELL. I dont feel as great today I suppose... god I need to go to CHAWP. If you understand what I'M talking about. I never Knew KOREA was full of farm land??...

The March issue of Korean vogue has just came out and god the photo shoot of Kim Tae Hee, a Korean super model. Well it takes place on a farm in the middle of beautiful scenery. I personally loved it.
I'm going to start off with this one its one of my favorites. The whole farm girl meets runway thing is totally displayed in this. The long wool dress with a wool blazer. The early 19th century hats... So Marry Poppins!

For some reason this one reminds me of CHANEL, especially the hat. The outfit is like a flower patch with all the different textures. The ruffles assist in that effect.

Lets steal the truck and why not take the outfit too. It has such a Tavi feel to it. No need to elaborate more.

So fairy esque. In a Secret Garden where fashion awaits.

A lovely romantic day during the summer.

THANKS TO MY PARTNER IN CRIME!! I'M LOST WITHOUT YOU!

Pattern is what constitutes Versace's Style. He receives his inspiration from nature creating extraordinary animal pieces. In other words this picture is Leopard vs. Zebra. Who will win? Leave it to natural selection.

Careful these are the feet of an eyptian goddess. The gold patterns and color create an ornament. The right hand photo seems to have a twist of an 18th-century courtly dress. Lets all wear our dresses and play with bubbles in the middle of the street. Oh what fun we will have!

He displays an absolute mastery of style with is arrangement of colors. It states that" Accessories play an important role in his world". They also forgot to mention the fact that Versace invented the green screen. Samya actually loved the left side picture I quote " it reminds me of my childhood and fun parties" along with a chuckle.

I did take art class in the first two years of Junior High. Both these images enforce the rule of positive and negative, if you understand what I mean. They are simple cutouts taking the little black dress to geometry class.Well done Versace.

This reminds me of Valentines day for some absurd reason I wonder if you to agree. All the rose pattern with its elegance. The left side black and white picture is one taken in a Morroccan Living room. By the way I am Moroccan so of course I would have known. They were both for Spring and Summer Collections but were created years apart.

VERSACE

While I happened to be roaming around the art section of the library I stumbled upon a book named VERSACE. The book was made in ITALY in the year 1997. It is a look book of a few of his major pieces that summarizes his collections. It speaks of all his collections and his inspirations. It is a very intriguing book that you have to read ehmm.. I mean look at your self.

Since I am currently taking a digital video productions class it is essential for us to know how to edit a movie. So my instructor gave us a movie to edit that was created by some students at the school. The movie was very awkward and had no talking expect for music playing in the background. The song was a french song , I knew because of the fact that my mother speaks french. So my team mate by the code name of Paliwoda Clan #6 whipped out her iphone and schazamed the song. Its actually an 80s french song.Roger that told me he did not like it and it was gibberish. I told him you have a good taste in music which really doesn't make sense. ENJOY!!

During the beginning of the school year one of my most sophisticated friends by the name of Heidi made me listen to a song on her phone. The song was foreign to my ears but it sounded amazing. I looked it up to find that the band wasn't well known but that didn't matter to me. The song is French Navy by Camera Obscura. I love the 60s hippie vibe of this music video. The clothing is amazing with all the colors and the Paris setting. Its almost as if it is a sight seeing trip that draws you in. AHH the land of Paris , the land of fashion, no wonder this is all appealing. All the dresses, coats , leggings , red nails, hair, and the chic style. I wish i could time zap into that era .Then 6 months later it turns up on a JCPenney commercial for valentines day. Interesting.

As I last recall bunnies are known to be cute and adorable animals, that even inspire runway designers like Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton. But in this picture it seems that I have gotten the wrong idea .Looks as if they are tired of having their family down the runway on the backs of models. BEWARE! that's all the advice I'm telling you.

While me and my colleagues were enjoying our scrumptious lunches I happened to look around and something bright and orange caught my attention. Abandoned on the floor sat a Cover Girl Lash Blast mascara bottle. I wasn't sure,so I approached it and found that my hypothesis was correct. It must have fell from some persons bag, but oh well it was pretty amusing considering the fact that we had something to entertain ourselves with. YES we are in some sort of manner childish, but hey we are only "14".

A new country has been on the rise for a striking sense of fashion. Have you guessed it yet ?? Well if you didn't know its KOREA!!! They are making a place for themselves in the world now. From music to clothing they are phenomenal. While my partner in crime was looking through the February Issue of Korean fashion magazine called Lee Da Hae - Style Magazine she happen to stumble upon extraordinary photos. This one is one of my favorites but trust me there are tons more. I happen to fall in love with the structure of this dress how its put together with different pieces it gives me a Greek goddess feel with a hint of exotic print. The second one has the same feel to it minus the print in the end its just plain beautiful.
